hallo again.

havent been blogging lately. must be the unattractive thought from too many photos to sort through... and as someone said before, 'live the moment' rather than taking photos for memory. i begged to differ but i think im slowly living the moment more. maybe i have lived those moments before...so to look at it again is rather repetitive. but some moments are meant to be re-lived again. hmm ok i sound gibberish. ahaha.

ok no link to what i said previously. heres some highlights of my belgium trip 060407-090407 (ups and downs)
brussels:

there must be some magic in this dough. cuz it tastes nothing like the singapore waffles. its like caramelised dough or smt.1.50 euros worth it siah.

the friggin huge bowl of mussels(YAYS!) which i had part of the set course (free rose beer, fries and apple crumble) fr the frigging cheaterbug cheat my money bad service brussels touristy restaurant. Promised 14 euros then later charge at 20euros. somemore manager give lame reason "cuz u take so long to order" what crap. so pissed i threw mussel shells onto the floor. and the napkin too. LOL. Daniel, rem to post their photo on net and warn ppl!

and my choice of poison is trappiste!(reccomended by marcxx) this range of beer brewed by monks(scratch head. haha dunno la)

tommy had gauze which is the in house brewed beer and supposedly very good! they serve chunks to cheese with it!

ohmygawd.i made chicken rice!(fr the chicken rice paste i brought fr sg..i mus say i had the forsight ahah) used my ah ma/mummy's homemade chang chu la.. and courtesy of chengwei's mum's chicken rice chilli. Lekker! Sedap! YummY!

after eating all the overpriced frites in belgium, i (had the craving) and decided to make my own frites from dutchkantang!complete with mayo! too bad i scalded my hand with the spattering oil. The price to pay for happy comfort food (:

so far, white rabbit sweet, apollo chocolate wafer, mamee, wang wang potato ball went down well with them.

hawflakes are strangest to them(just like liquorice to me)

back from belgium!
as u can see, im getting too lazy to post any photos or comments about it. (after the last conscientious entries on spain)

i shall attempt to summarise my belgium trip in a(long)sentence.

brussels(too touristy - blahh), brugg(nice but quiet - but can go), ghent(lovely; old and new, my fave), antwerp (good for shopping only) and metros and trams are FREE!

lol.

remind me to complain about our bad dinner experience at brussels!
