6 year olds take on Formula One cars

The art teacher was teaching the kids to draw racing cars this week, to coincide with the upcoming F1 held in sg..but before drawing, she talked abt the differences btw 'Your Daddy's Car' and 'Racing Car' and many more with the kids, which led to this very hilarious out-of-point dialogue.

An actual conversation(rather accurate from my memory).

Teacher: "How come the racing car is faster than the truck, why isit built so low?"

A very boy boy, Jerald:" because there's no roof."

Ryan, usually quite good with general knowledge, offered this. "Because its like a dolphin, can swim very fast."

Sweet Megan tries. " because, because it is different from my daddy's car.."

Aiden, irrelevantly but nonetheless adorably: "I know i know! the person has to put his leg inside but the person in big car no need..."

Rachel's brave attempt came. " Because the car is very fast, that's why its so low.."

Lendal, as if just to make up the numbers, said:" because it is a racing car!"

The shy unassuming Natalie knew better. She didnt know the answer and just remained silent.

HAAHA.

and... again

i realise my attitude to travel is abit like reading books or watching movies. been re-reading parts of books and rewatching some movies. once through is not enough. if im still thinking abt it, i will be back again, prying beneath the touristic skin.

would like to revisit:

napoli, italy(i like the feel there (&capri island!)despite rather messy)
france. i will give paris another chance(despite some cheekopek incidents, too many lovely french movies distorting my memory)
cingjing farm, taiwan
netherlands(cuz it feels like home)

actually din do a thorough job through europe.. wana visit the smaller towns my next EuroTrip!

maybe my star signs clash with my dentist's.

have i mentioned that my dentist hates me? first, they asked to change my timing fr 10am to 4pm. when i reached there, the guy asked if i cld let a girl go in first cuz she's 'in pain' i tot ok. (i tot it was 20min or so) oh no.. it took 40ish min. i almost fell aslp on the couch.
when i went in, we din talk... then suddenly, as if to strike a small talk.. she asked ' so, have you found a job?' ' no and its none of your business, you asked it the last time and its still N.O. NO. so stop rubbing that in already' (well i wished i said that)

then, my dentist asked the husband to switch off 'mr bean cartoon on her plasma screen cuz '(im) not watching.." that sounded bloody rude. and then became defensive when i commented the front tooth STILL aren't moving much.. after about 5 visits.. well, its jus a concerned question.. but she went abt how these things r so subtle..etc.. then when i jus casually asked if 'isit a progress for you, cuz i cant really see it" ok on retrospection, this liner probly sounds alot harsher than i tot.. i was meaning cuz the subtle differences only the professionals can notice rite? but i guess it rub her off the wrong way. then last but not least, when i asked so isit this for a few more mths b4 i go onto retainers, the husband brought out my original teeth mould to show how much it moved already and how i shld be 'patient patient'.

wahlaueh.

pls dun ask me to recommend you my dentist. the only good thing is its proximity to my house. or maybe my star signs clash with my dentist's.

need to grow a money tree soon

these days i feel the need to do little things that i missed out in the past.. and also things that are fun for me now.. so much so i tink i seem to be neglecting the importance of finding a job. i have these many to do lists.. like jasmine's babyshower/housewarming gifts, ed's present, class gathering, photos, exercise, making crepes with ham mushroom cheese.. buying work clothes(for a job that is non-existent), watching all the movies that i missed, all the related movies that are of my interest, downloading all my favourite songs, drink my favourite clam chowder fr soupspoon, packing my clothes, packing my room(bit by bit), reading a old book my frds got me for my 22nd birthday...watching all the tv shows a regime i cant break out of, imagining what had been, could be, should be.

YUP. this is life.

even if i am poor.
and broke.
and poor.

recently i enjoy evening jogs..

i do them in repeated laps.

a little like a goldfish in the bowl;

only i dont forget or find things new and fresh.

its the time for me to think and reflect.
