dear santa
i wouldnt say i was a good girl all year
but i think i did pretty okay on this xmas eve
i helped my sister with her xmas party foodie
and went out with my dad and ah ma
to a rather uninteresting pearl centre at night
just so my granny can take a walk outside
i think my dad and me should get a good present from you tonight.

you know you should get out of the house and face the world when
1. you finish not one but two korean dramas on youtube in 5days
2. your luggage from a holiday trip a week ago is still intact
3. your flooble chatter box(whatever that thing is called) decides to call it quits and delete your account because it has been "noticed that there has been no posts to this chatterbox lately. It is part of flooble policy to delete chatterboxes that have fallen into disuse. "
4. you don't check your handphone
5. or emails
6. or bother going on msn
7. and you secretly enjoy being disconnected
8. ponders about life (good)
9. reflected in reel koream dramas (badd..)
10. you think nobody likes you anymore and you better go eat some worms.
merry xmas! to anybody and everybody.

To D.
Today I read an excerpt that brought a tear to my eye.
"You will soon be 82 years old. You have shrunk 6 centimetres, you weigh no more than 45 kilos, and you are still beautiful, gracious and desirable. It is now 58 years that we have lived together and I love you more than ever...I check to see if you're breathing, my hand brushes over you. Neither of us wants to outlive the other. We always used to say that if, by some miracle, we were to have a second life, we'd like to spend it together."
-"Lettre a D: Histoire d'un amour" by Andre Gorz
This romantic Mr Gorz and his wife Dorine went on to their eternal bliss with some help of poison.

time=money
this theory finally hit me hard in the face when i realised my library book fines amount to twenty freaking dollars...yeah...(what?!!!)
i was too busy to read them and i thought the fine was 15cents per day. but its actually freaking 50 cents.
okay a rather wasteofspace post here. byebye.

vrolijk (:
it kinda feels very nice when i can msn dutch friends i havent talked to in a while to ask for some designcasestudy help.
jef even went to test out his bluetooth for me cuz i was begging for a soundclip from him..after he said he had no camera with him.. *shocked* but too bad it didnt work but i did get some good quotable quotes fr him.. (:
(already knew last time that he is someone u can depend on.. more likely to hold onto friendships than some others...)
and dom who already helped me take several photos... again obliging for that 30 sec video im talking abt.
why do i keep taking from my friends and they just give and give, ever so willingly?
i should learn to give more and take less.
thanks dom, wilem and jef( my reliable dutch friends (: )
of course all of you you & you too.. but guess been receiving long-d help from these boys lately...

again\
my yesterdays came back to haunt me.. in particular the first half of this year when i was abroad.
i did not particularly wanted to reminisce about them again as i find myself unconsciously and consciously thinking about them on and off... which sometimes make me feel like im spending too much time just thinking about the past... move on, the present and the future are before you!
surprisingly the meditation course i took in school(meant as research for osim project with mr woo and hun) came kinda handy. we were taught to acknowledge a thought, not to dismiss or repel it out of our minds forcefully. Just acknowledge it, and let it pass.
So here i am..
1. wanted to change my wall paper to that of my past sketching works done in holland (which i liked rather very much) but decided against it.. well.. nice but yeah.. it might just put me in a mode of The Past. So the current one stays.

(the colours are kinda wrong here btw.. something to do with the colour mode)
2. Was listening to this album of italian songs that i always listened to when i was in holland... kinda nice..(well, didnt choose it becus i wana reminisce but rather they r really nice n soothing) then wanted another playlist to go along.. instead of choosing yet another playlist which would again easily be reminiscent of the routine music in nl i listen to.. (which would be jack johnson or the beatles) i chose this really random playlist i made very long ago..(when 'hips don't lie' by black eyed peas were still hip).. and it was... surprisingly delightful.. like a old familiar scent that was tucked away and almost forgotten and now feels like a renewed breath of fresh air.
i like to think that i am starting to manage this better.
and perhaps break my sleepy curse.
